Good try. Now lets tel the whole story that you and those other Filter companies don't tell. Yes the company has been to court over some serious matters. Now lets get to the facts of the court decision. They not only refused to let Alpine show thet test results done at independent, GOVERNMENT, studies that prove that the units reduce, mold, mildew, and othe volitile subsatances from the air, but also that the Aline unitsa are the only units that not only eliminate smoke but second hand smoke as well! These test were done at Johns Hopkins and by verey credible scientist. Now explain how filters deals with those problems. I work at a Naval Hospital here in Jacksonville Nc and the Industrial Hygentist are have the time of their life trying to filter out all of the stuff floating around the entire compound. I placed an XL-15 in a office space known for mold spores. Personell were getting sick all the time and were complaing about nasal and throat problems. I let the Industrial health people use my machine for 2 weeks in that office. Before they did they collected mold samples prior to setting up the unit. In just 5 days of using the machine the emplyees were saying they noticed a big change in the smell of the office and the could breathe a little better. Mind you they did not even know the unit was in the office. At the end of the 2 weeks they went back and checked for mold spores again to compare with the last sample. They noticed a 71% reduction in the mold. They said that the mold was due to the humidity level being to high and could not believe how the unit was able to get that kind of result in that enviroment. Now I could not get a contrct with the Hospital because I work with the Goverment. But once the employees founfd out what it was that made the difference 7 of the purchased one.

Now tell me what type of Fiter does that. Another thing. The FTC can not endorse any product. Once more Honeywell and a few other companies, hint, hint, are in an uproar ovcer this product because they work and they know they do. All this talk about Ozone and Ions is a smoke screen. If ozone is so bad none of us should go outside, use a copier machine, yes that smell that comes from a copier is ozone. The fact is the ozone which is Natures oxidizing agent are not harmful in an indoor eviroment as long as it is kept at a certain level. The EPA has established those levels. That is why Alpine created a sensor for there machines. Then the FTC, along with some other Filter companies, tried to discredit that.

Now can you tell me why so many people that has allergies, asthma, and a host of other problems are useing the machines and a host of other products from the company if they did not help them? The company and some of the early dealers made a mistake by passing them off as medical devices. The truth of the matter is that people with those types of problems are benefiting from the machines.
