Do I need to replace my pre-filter?
Your nylon pre-filter is the first stage of the cleaning process. It stops large airborne particles, such as dust, pet dander and pet hair. The pre-filter can be removed and cleaned with mild soap and water, then returned to the unit. It is not necessary to replace the pre-filter unless the original is lost or damaged.
